A dedicated ceremony of medicinal tobacco with Mar Qhana Yumani. Romé Potó is a sacred Amazonian medicinal tobacco — a finely ground powder applied gently to the nose, not smoked. Used for clearing and grounding. We go deep, with two rounds, guided by Mar's Andean-Amazonian lineage.
The evening opens with an introduction to the retreat weekend and a shared opening circle.

An intimate Ceremony of Cacao with Mar Qhana Yumani. Cacao as it has always been prepared — by hand, with intention, with prayer. A medicine of sweetness, and of truth.
Mar also offers tobacco medicine during the ceremony — a gentler serving to deepen the connection with the cacao. This is gentler than Friday's dedicated ceremony. Mar speaks English, but ceremony demands her full presence — Atsugá is there to translate from Spanish when needed.
We gather in a small circle of up to ten people. Expect music, song, and room for whatever the medicine brings.

Together we open a sacred circle and build a despacho — a prayer bundle in the Andean tradition — item by item, breath by breath. Air is the most intimate of the elements. It is already inside you. Every breath you take is a conversation with the invisible.
Through breathwork and song we charge the offering with what we carry — intentions, prayers, what wants to move. We breathe life into what we build together. When it is complete, the bundle carries everything we gave it.

We gather at the water's edge and build a despacho — a prayer bundle in the Andean tradition — item by item, at the shore. Water moves. It carries. It cleanses without effort.
Through song and ceremony we place what we carry into the offering — held in shells, given to the water. When it is complete, we release it.
How to get there: Take T-bane line 5 to Sognsvann (end stop), or drive to Sognsvann parking. We meet at 17:30 at the T-bane station and walk to the shore together. Dress for the weather and bring sturdy shoes.

By the Fire We Remember
A gathering of ancestral wisdom and spirituality around the fire.
A space where Mar Qhana Yumani, a Bolivian woman and practitioner of traditional Andean-Amazonian medicine, and Thomas, a Norwegian energy worker, share their vision of spirituality, ancestral wisdom, and connection with the living memory of plants from different lands.
Mar is a therapist, artist, and educator — open to sharing her vision of ancestry, master plants, and the tradition she grew up with and has been practicing deeply for the last 9 years. Thomas, based in Oslo, works with energy healing and makes this meeting possible, co-facilitating the space together with Mar.
We weave memory together — remembering and opening questions.

An afternoon and evening ceremony with Mar and Thomas, working with spirit.
We open the space and settle in — a guided meditation to quiet the mind and open what lies beneath. Then we journey.
Using drum and medicinal tobacco as our vehicles, we make two or three passages into the spirit world across the evening. Each journey goes deeper than the last. The tobacco is offered in two rounds — a first for those finding their footing, a second for those called to go further.
Throughout the evening we build a despacho — a prayer bundle charged not by our hands alone but by everything that moves through the room. What the spirits bring, what the journeys open, what the medicine reveals — all of it goes into the bundle.
When the evening is complete, the offering is dispatched.
This is not a casual evening. Come rested, come open, come ready to meet what comes.

Vi åpner rommet og lander — en guidet meditasjon for å stille sinnet og åpne det som ligger under. Så reiser vi.
Med tromme og medisinsk tobakk gjør vi to eller tre reiser inn i åndeverdenen gjennom kvelden. Hver reise går dypere enn den forrige. Tobakken tilbys i to runder — en første for de som finner fotfeste, en andre for de som kalles til å gå videre.
Gjennom kvelden bygger vi en despacho — en bønnebunt ladet av alt som beveger seg gjennom rommet — ikke bare hendene våre. Det åndene bringer, det reisene åpner, det medisinen avslører — alt går inn i bunten.

A workshop to meet cacao from its origin. We look at the raw seeds — including cacao chuncho, the ancient, unmodified variety — toast them together, and taste the different flavours.
We continue the process until we hold our own cups of cacao, and share them in a meditation that brings us into the heart — where cacao works in us.
We share word and vision.
Mar Qhana Yumani is a Bolivian medicine woman and traditional Andean-Amazonian practitioner. She teaches you how to prepare the medicine yourself — from raw bean to cup, the way it has always been done. The grinding, the intention, the prayers that go into every batch. Not a recipe. A relationship.
The connection with cacao — as with every plant — is a relationship. That is how we work with them: by relating with them, coming to know them. This gathering is an introduction to that space.

Together we build a despacho — a prayer bundle in the Andean tradition — and fill it with what we are ready to commit to. Not release. Not let go. Plant. When it is complete, we put it in the ground.
How to get there: Take bus to Solemskogen, or drive to Solemskogen parking. We meet at 17:30 at the parking and walk in together — a short walk on gravel to the site. Dress for the weather and bring sturdy shoes.

Beltane — the ancient festival of fire and new life — falls on the full moon this year. We meet it with the deepest work of the spring.
Friday we turn toward the inner child — what was left behind, what still asks to be seen. Saturday we turn toward the ancestors — those who came before, what they passed down, what we are ready to carry forward.
We close the spring by planting something in the ground. Fullføringen.

Through guided meditation we turn to face that line. We feel who is there. We receive what has always been waiting to be given.
Together we build a despacho — a prayer bundle in the Andean tradition — placing into it our gratitude, our acknowledgment, what we are ready to carry forward and what we are ready to set down. When it is complete, we give it to the earth.

Vi bærer alle mer enn vår egen historie. Bak oss står foreldrene, og deres foreldre, og alle før dem — de som kjempet, de som holdt ut, de som elsket ufullkomment og likevel ga noe videre.
Gjennom guidet meditasjon vender vi oss mot dem. Vi kjenner hvem som er der. Vi mottar det som alltid har ventet på å bli gitt.
Sammen bygger vi en despacho — en bønnebunt i den andinske tradisjonen — og legger i den takknemlighet, anerkjennelse, det vi er klare til å bære videre og det vi er klare til å sette ned. Når den er ferdig, gir vi den til jorden.
